As an environmental steward, WestCreek has planted 6500 trees and counting. Better still, residents get to choose their own tree from a variety of species native to their area.

Make your tree selection:

  2. SELECT YOUR TREES
    Within the map links, fill in the form to make your tree species selection. Please only choose one tree as only one will be planted. For the Woods Phases 12, 16 and 20 in Legacy, only select only from the Woods Tree options.

What happens next?

  1. WE MARK THE SPOT
    Our contractor will place a stake in your front yard. This stake will be where your tree will go, if you wish to slightly move the location you may do that by moving the stake. Please do so within reason, all planting locations are subject to review by the landscaper and will need to be a minimum of 1.5m away from your water valve should it be within the landscaped area.
  2. WE PLANT YOUR TREE
    Our contractor will plant the tree in your front yard in the location of the stake.
  3. WE CLEAN UP OUR MESS
    Any established landscaping will be restored to its original state after the tree is planted. Please be patient as this may take up to a week after the tree is planted (weather dependent).
  4.  THE REST IS UP TO YOU
    The contractor will give the tree its initial watering. Once “installed” the care and maintenance of the tree will solely be the homeowners responsibility.

WestCreek will happily plant your tree and give it its first drink of water. After that, it is each resident’s responsibility to maintain. In other words, it’s all yours to care for and enjoy.

Please note: No warranty or maintenance is provided on trees. Tree planting is subject to space available in your front yard, in some instances if there are underground utilities in your front yard you may not have enough space for us to safely plant a tree. In that instance we do not offer an alternative and you will not be eligible for the tree planting program. In addition, please note that tree planting is completed twice a year (typically in May and September, weather dependent). Prior to tree planting we ask that you please contact your home builder to coordinate the placement of loam on your lot should it not already be provided. Loaming of your lot will initiate the tree process.
