Bravin founded WestCreek Developments in 1997 with a vision of building unique lifestyle communities unparalleled in Calgary. Bravin started his career working machinery for his father’s excavation company in 1973. After graduating with a civil engineering degree from the University of Calgary, Bravin joined Markborough Properties and then worked with Melcor for eight years before launching WestCreek. Bringing three decades of experience to the land development industry, Bravin has been involved in all aspects of development. His deep industry knowledge, coupled with his enduring vision to build the best communities in Western Canada, has created a number of successful WestCreek communities in the greater Calgary area.

Bravin loves golf and prides himself on his long drive.

General Manager

Jared is a professional engineer with over 10 years of experience in real estate and land development. Since joining WestCreek in 2012, Jared has been involved in all aspects of the business including municipal approvals, sales, marketing, financial analysis and project financing. Jared is also active in WestCreek’s home building division, WestCreek Homes, playing a crucial role in strategic planning, market evaluation and financial analysis. Prior to joining the WestCreek team, Jared worked with Stantec Consulting engineering group on various land development projects. He has been an active member of BILD for 5 years as a member of the planning committee, and then as an advisory board member through the BILD Calgary transition.

FUN FACT
Jared has 2 kids and is passionate about all things sports.

Marketing Manager

Kalida has been with WestCreek since 2015, managing the marketing of new communities and homes. Kalida develops marketing plans for all new communities and works closely with builders to develop and execute strategies for all aspects of a new community development.  Marketing is involved every step of the way from the planning stages to construction and Kalida works with her team on creating an engaging community and platform for people coming together. Kalida also manages the Residents Associations of all communities. Kalida graduated from the University of Calgary in Marketing and before moving to WestCreek Developments, and prior to joining, worked for Apple and Target, managing new store openings and campus recruitment.

Kalida loves to bake, and never makes the same thing twice.

Senior Accountant

Josh has been with WestCreek since 2020, ensuring all projects run smoothly on the accounting side of the business. Josh has 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on land development accounting. He has worked for Collins Barrow Calgary LLP, MNP LLP and RSM Alberta LLP in the audit departments with a wide range of companies and industries. Josh was first introduced to the world of land development in 2014 at Collins Barrow and got the pleasure of working with the team at WestCreek for many years before joining them personally.

FUN FACT
Although Josh has a fairly poor tolerance of heat when it comes to spicy food, he has started collecting hot sauces as a challenge to see if he can withstand the heat that each one brings. Hot sauces go up to over 2 million Scoville’s, making it quite the undertaking.

Accounts Payable Manager

Gavin has been with WestCreek Developments since 2019. As accounts payable coordinator, his primary focus is on vendor relationships and maintaining open and honest communication with partners. Gavin’s goal is to ensure that all vendors have confidence in the organization and its ability to meet or exceed payment schedules while providing accurate and up-to-date information as needed. Gavin enjoys his community and loves the idea that others will be joining their own communities and be part of something they can take pride in. Prior to joining WestCreek, Gavin worked for over 18 years in the oil and gas industry in accounts payables.

Gavin enjoys furniture design and construction as a hobby in his spare time.

Executive Assistant to the President

Judy has been with WestCreek since 2012 and works closely with Bravin Goldade to provide professional and confidential support on all matters. She handles a full range of logistical and administrative support required for key meetings, ensuring the President is well prepared for upcoming commitments, calendars are up-to-date and necessary reports, memos and letters are completed on a timely basis. Before joining WestCreek, Judy worked for the owners of Spa Lady Fitness Clubs for over 20 years. Judy is also the Office Manager, HR and Contract Administrator for WestCreek Developments and Homes.

FUN FACT
Judy has an 8lb dog named Zeus. She is also a sports fan and loves watching hockey and curling.

Development Manager

Cameron has been with WestCreek Developments since 2018 managing the construction of CornerBrook and Wolf Willow. A born and raised Calgarian, Cameron has loved watching the city grow throughout his life and enjoys working in land development as it gives him the opportunity to be a part of the growth and development of the city. Cameron graduated from Civil Engineering Technology at SAIT in 2018. Prior to that, he worked in the automotive industry as a Technician and in Parts sales.

FUN FACT
Outside of work Cameron enjoys spending most of his time outdoors snowboarding, hiking or spending time with his dog.

Senior Development Manager

Mike is the Senior Development Manager and has been with WestCreek since 2021 overseeing the construction and development of our NE community of Cornerbrook. In addition, Mike is working on the development and planning of Bridgeport and Rangeview, two future WestCreek communities. Mike has worked in land development for over 12 years and prior to joining WestCreek, worked at Stantec Consulting as a construction project manager working on various commercial and residential projects. Mike is proud to contribute to the growth of Calgary and neighboring areas, developing communities for people to enjoy and call home.

Mike enjoys fly fishing golfing and snowboarding.

Development Manager

Ken started with WestCreek in 2022 where he manages the community of Legacy. Prior to joining, he worked in Architecture for 10 years as a project manager and technologist. During this time, he had the opportunity to work on the planning, design, and construction of various commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. He has recently completed an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate in Spring of 2022. As a born and raised Calgarian, he looks forward to contributing to the growth of Calgary. The ability to go back and experience a place you have helped create, is the most rewarding part of his job.

Ken is avid mountain biker, snowboarder, and golfer – pretty much any sport that gets him outdoors.

Accounts Payable Clerk

She started working at WestCreek in 2022, as their Accounts Payable Clerk. Paula is part of the accounting team and processes invoices for payment. She comes from a background of Oil & Gas as an accounts payable clerk. She moved to Calgary in 2002 from Newfoundland, and she is amazed to see how Calgary has grown over the years with all the beautiful new communities.

Paula loves true crime documentaries and camping with her husband.

Reception/Administration

Fatima started with WestCreek in 2022. She had previously worked at a law firm for 4 years where she was the receptionist/Office Manager. There she oversaw the lawyers’ planning schedules and helped with legal documents. Fatima is a trained lawyer, so she was able to attend a few trials too. She recently moved to Canada, from Nigeria, to be reunited with her family. Having no experience in the property development industry, she looks forward to learning how contracts are negotiated for both the purchase of the lands and the agreements after.  Also, the way properties have been developed and how designs and concepts are created.

Fatima is a certified personal trainer, loves soccer, athletics and reading novels.

Architectural Coordinator

Mikaella started with WestCreek in 2022 as part of the architectural controls team. Before WestCreek, Mikealla attended SAIT where she took the Architectural Technologies program. There, she was creating different projects from residential to commercial and, as part of a project, she was able to fully build a bungalow home. She graduated from SAIT in 2021. At WestCreek, she oversees all the designs of the houses of every community and makes sure that they meet all the design criteria. She enjoys every aspect of her job, including the inspections, where she visits the houses on-site after seeing them digitally for months.

FUN FACT

Mikaella spends her time trying new sports and bringing her dog, Astro, everywhere. She also is an avid sneaker collector and loves trying new food.

Marketing Analyst Coordinator

Cassidy started with WestCreek in 2023, as a part of the Marketing Team. Prior to joining, she honed her skills as a Corporate Partnership Coordinator with the Calgary Flames, where she played a pivotal role in planning and executing dynamic marketing initiatives tailored to each unique corporate partner. Her expertise spanned across various media assets including broadcast, social, digital, in-arena promotions, and community event execution. Cassidy feels honoured to play a role in contributing to the growth of the city, and work on projects that will leave a lasting impact on the community.

Cassidy is a certified Lagree instructor, so you can catch her on the megaformer in her free time.

Marketing Creative Coordinator

McKenna is the Marketing Creative Coordinator with WestCreek and oversees the marketing strategies for both existing and upcoming communities and homes. Collaborating closely with various marketing agencies, McKenna ensures a harmonious blend of external expertise and in-house creativity. With a double major in English and Sociology, a Masters of Management degree, and 6 years of combined experience in hospitality, marketing management and project coordination, McKenna brings a wealth of expertise and a unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking.
